• Research Questions are due December 15, 2016

• 3 Questions connected to your problem are to be turned in. This assignment is worth 5 points!

Consider what you need to know BEFORE you start to "google" for information connected to your topic.

What information do you need BEFORE you start to form a hypothesis and develop your testing procedures.

What can you learn about your topic/problem BEFORE your begin your project.

Form questions that answer HOW, WHY, WHAT, or WHEN????

2. Research Template

Use this to gather research information

• use your research questions to help find a good source for information related to your project
• complete 3 Research Note sheets (one for each source)
• complete the Summary for each source
• Submit this typed or on lined paper.

• state hypothesis using If....then.
• provide 2 reasons for your hypothesis
• what is your INDEPENDENT variable (what are you testing or changing in your experiment)
• what is your DEPENDENT variable (what are you measuring)
• what is your CONTROL- what will you use to compare to you test

2. Procedure, Material, Data Table DUE 1/31/17

Follow direction to complete your procedures, materials list. Make a data table according to the instruction.
NOTE: you may have to revise your procedure/material during or after your actual experiment.
